The St. Louis alumnae club is active in supporting the Fraternity's literacy efforts, as well as our own philanthropic shop, Sign of the Arrow. Established in 1966 by the Saint Louis Alumnae Club of Pi Beta Phi to provide philanthropic support to the community, Sign of the Arrow is St. Louis' premiere needlepoint and gift shop. The shop is staffed by 100+ Pi Phi alumnae and community volunteers who give 22,000+ hours annually; all proceeds benefit local charities. Since its beginning in 1966, Sign of the Arrow has donated more than $4 million to charitable causes and has supported the educational programs of Pi Beta Phi.
